Fixed Assets are one of the most important parts of a corporation after human resources. Fixed Assets Management is something that generally exists in almost all types of corporations or industries. Fixed Assets are tangible assets (Tangible Assets) owned by a company to be used for production, inventory and/or leased to other parties.

Fixed Assets can also be in the form of intangible assets, which are usually in the form of special rights owned by a company, such as Copyright, Exploration and Exploitation Rights, Patents, Trademarks, Goodwill.

With SAP Business One you can easily manage Fixed Assets.

 

Ensure that the Fixed Assets module is activated in SAP

 

The first thing you have to do before managing Fixed Assets in SAP Business One, you have to make sure that this module has been activated, namely, please go to the Administration menu -> System Initialization -> Company Details, TAB Basic Initialization.


 


After ensuring that Fixed Assets have been activated, you can access them in the Financials menu -> Fixed Assets. Inside there are several Fixed Asset submenus such as Asset Master Data, Capitalization, Capitalization Credit Memo, Retirement, Transfer, Manual Depreciation, Depreciation Run, Asset Revaluation, Fiscal Year Change, Fixed Assets Reports.
