Work with MS 365 Outlook from SAP Business One Web Client

First of all, you have more options what to send through your email: Word document, XLS document, PDF document, or document URL. In addition, you can send documents also from the view list.

So, how to get here?

So, first of all you now have two options when sending an email: the default option with a Word attachment or the other option:

Another option is to email with XLS/PDF or document URL:

If you select one of the attachments, the mail will be sent as described. But if you select Hyperlink in the body of the Email, the recipient will not be filled in. This is obvious: your subscribers do not have access to your database.

The next option for sharing documents is to send a so-called bulk mail. This can be done from the View List. The process is as follows:

·        You open your view list,

·        select the document you want to share,

·        and the option of one email with PDF attachment or Multiple emails with PDF attachment:

If you select Multiple Emails, an email will be created for each selected document. If you select only one email, the recipients will not be organized by the Web Client. Please note that due to technical and human limitations, the number of documents you want to share via email at a time cannot be more than 20. So, if you want to share 150 documents, you need to share them 8 times.

The other 2 options you can already know: these are the delivery URLs for the created display list or an Excel file that you can export from your display list.
